Citrine

Citrine is a variety of quartz. It ranges in color from a pale yellow to brown. Citrine has ferric impurities, and is rarely found naturally. Most commercial citrine is in fact artificially heated amethyst or smoky quartz and contains the same physical properties as natural citrine.  Brazil is the leading producer of citrine, with much of its production coming from the state of Rio Grande do Sul.  Citrine is one of three traditional birthstones for the month of November.  It is nearly impossible to tell cut citrine from yellow topaz visibly.

Citrine activates opens and energizes the sacral and solar plexus directing via personal power creativity and intelligent decisiveness the energy necessary to enhance the physical body.  It stimulates both mental focus and endurance.  It also allows for clarification of problems related to the realms of the intellect and emotions.  Citrine further promotes radiance from within the self, culminating in a constant happy disposition.  It brightens even the darkest corner of smoothing family or group problems and subsequently producing cohesiveness between the associative members.
